

He will always be remembered as a fun loving Husband, Dad, Pop Pop, Brother, and friend. He was born on November 7th, 1946 in Quincy, Illinois.
Dan was retired and spent his time doing the things he loved the most, woodworking, fishing, and working at the Timberline Elementary Garden. He enjoyed nothing more than attending his grandkids’ sports and activities.
Dan is survived by his Wife, Kathie Monnier, Daughter, Melissa Johnson, Son in law, Todd Johnson, Grandson, Carter Johnson, Grand- Daughter, McCall Johnson from Grapevine,Texas, Brother, Bob Monnier and wife Pam from Columbia,South Carolina, Brother Steve Monnier from Tuscon, Arizona, Sister Mary Reed and husband, Gary from Quincy Illinois, Brother Dave Monnier from Savannah, Tennessee, Sister Lou Ann and husband David from Metternich-Nauvoo, Illinois, Sister Nancy Halpin from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Brother Mark and wife Jane from Mammoth Cave, Kentucky, Sister in Law Theresa Clark from Wayland, Missouri, and countless nieces and nephews.
Dan was preceded in death by his Parents John Monnier and Mother Gayle Steimer Monnier from Basco, Illinois, and Brother Paul Monnier from Warsaw, Illinois.
The visitation will be held from 5-7pm, March 6, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home 5725 Colleyville Blvd. Colleyville, TX 76034
