It is with profound sadness that the family of Danny Curbo announces that he passed away at his home in North Richland Hills, TX on September 28, 2026. Danny was a character and lived life on his terms. He was a friend to many, and he loved his family and friends.
Danny grew up in Haltom City, TX, and graduated from Haltom High School in 1966. He attended Cisco Junior College, Texas Wesleyan College, and Tarrant County College. He was a natural salesman and sold insurance for a time before owning and operating a successful screen-printing business and acquiring real estate holdings.
Danny was intelligent and funny, and despite struggles with mental illness, he had the energy and drive to succeed. He was loved by his family and friends and will be truly missed. He is survived by three children, Brian Villanueva of Burlington, KY, Landon Peacock of Kentucky, and Payton Peacock of Kennedale, TX. He is also survived by two sisters, Linda Curbo of Fort Worth, TX and Cathy Curbo of Arlington, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, E.D. “Dink” Curbo and Jimmie G. (Shiflet) Curbo.
We love you, Danny and we regret that you are gone from this world. We are sorry that you suffered so much. May you rest in peace and be pain-free forever.
Danny's cremains will be interred during a short service at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, in a columbarium at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, TX. A Celebration of Life will take place the same day at 4:00 PM at Sammie's Barbeque Restaurant, 3801 E. Belknap, Fort Worth, TX. Friends and family are welcome to attend one or both services. If you plan to attend the BBQ meal, please contact Cathy Curbo, Linda Curbo, or Payton Peacock either by phone or Facebook Messenger so that we will know how much food to prepare.
