Alice Darlene Rhodes, 82, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Parkwood Assisted Living of natural causes. Darlene was born in Matador, Texas on May 6th, 1942. She was a retired accounting supervisor at Mary Kay Cosmetics. Later in life she enjoyed working for both the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys She enjoyed working in the yard, camping with her family, and shopping with her sister, Lou.
Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph & Doris Collins. She is survived by her eldest son, Grady Clinton Rhodes and his wife, Kathy, of Pensacola, Florida; her daughter, Tammy Rhoads and her husband, Kevin, of Haslet, Texas; her son, Craig Rhodes; her sister, Lou Smith and her husband, Randy; grandchildren Dustin Rhoads, Shasta Rhoads, Marshall Rhodes, and Blane Rhodes.
Darlene's services will take place on June 21st, 2024 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd. Colleyville, TX 76034. Her funeral will begin at 10 a.m. and will be followed by an 11 a.m. burial.
