David was born at a small clinic in McKinney, Texas on December 6, 1976.
He went to McKinney schools finishing his public school education at McKinney High School where he played football and wore his hero's, Randy White's, number 54. He graduated in 1995. He then went to Texas State Technical College where he received his welding certificate.
His bright red hair, blue eyes and 6 foot 2 inch stature made him tower over most people and stand out in a crowd. His loud and bubbly personality along with his big kind heart drew people everywhere to him. He never met a stranger. If you were in need, he would do anything and everything to try to help even if it meant giving you the shirt off his back.
David was very passionate about his family, dogs, all types racing, baseball, football (Hook'em Horns, Roll Tide and How 'Bout them Cowboys), 4 wheeling, hunting and fishing. He loved playing computer games as well as his Playstation games with his nephews, niece, and cousins. He also had gaming friends from all over the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
He also had a great love for cars and cooking. His grandfather had him in the garage from a very early age turning wrenches and helping out as David got older and could reach the pedals. His great grandmother Mary Blasingame taught him all about cooking. He was happy cooking for others, even if he didn't share the recipes, that is how he shared and showed his love. He prided himself on his sweet tea which he perfected the proper way to get just strong and sweet enough. To relax he would take shots of whiskey with Maker's Mark and Jim Beam Devil's Cut being two of his favorites. Both of these companies and Copenhagen profits will be down for the year due to his passing.
September 2002 he met the love of his life, Amanda Kay Loges of Grapevine, Texas. He proposed and she accepted on November 12, 2002 and they were married surrounded by family and friends on April 5, 2003.
He lived and worked in McKinney, Texas until December 2010 when he moved to Grapevine, Texas to help out at his in law's.
He started working with Amanda at ExponentHR in Addison, Texas in 2011. He made many new friends and enjoyed getting to know each and every person that he came in contact with there.
