

Debbie Kelly was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Debbie will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
She was the daughter of Edward and Edith Rivera.
Debbie was raised with four sisters Mary, Dolores, Virginia, Mary and three brothers Raymond, Edward, and Tim. Debbie was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
Empathic and loyal, Debbie was committed to making her new family happy.
Debbie worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Debbie was blessed with one son Chad.
Fortunately, Debbie enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Debbie worked diligently and did her best to succeed in her career. Her primary occupation was in real estate. She was employed for 26 years with her sister Mary in real estate. Debbie always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Debbie was a woman who took pride in upholding her beliefs. So it is little wonder that she took an active role in her community. Debbie enjoyed volunteering her time with the NE Tarrant County Aggie Moms Club, Compass Christian Church and the Colleyville Citizens Fire Academy Alumni Association.
Debbie’s faith was important to her. She was a member Compass Christian Church.
Debbie passed away on June 21, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. She is survived by her beloved husband David, son; Chad, siblings; Raymond (Betty) Rivera, Dolores (Grant) Siegfried, Virginia (Ronnie) Nelson, Edward (Kay) Rivera Jr., Mary (Ken) Cornelius and Tim (Lori) Rivera, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Debbie will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers please make a donation of your choice to Colleyville Citizens Fire Academy Alumni Association, Colleyville Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association or Compass Christian Church. Services were held at Compass Christian Church in Colleyville, Texas. Debbie was laid to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in the Mausoleum in Colleyville, Texas.
Debbie loved traveling, flamingos, family, and friends.. Debbie was a woman of faith. Simply stated, Debbie will be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Debbie leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Debbie Kelly.

Debbie Kelly conquered her battle with cancer, and went home to her Lord and Savior on June 21, 2016 surrounded by family. Visitation: June 23, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Celebration of Life: Saturday, June 25, 2016 1:30 P.M. at Compass Christian Church. Debbie was born on November 18, 1956 to Edward and Edith Rivera in Fort Worth, TX. Debbie loved traveling, flamingos, family and friends. One of Debbie's passions was working with her sister Mary in Real Estate for the last 26 years. She was a woman of faith, giving back to others in her community through various organizations. Debbie enjoyed volunteering her time with the NE Tarrant Co. Aggie Moms Club, Compass Christian Church and the Colleyville Citizens Fire Academy Alumni Association.Those preceding her in death are her parents and sister Mary Helen.
