Deborah Louise Rosen, known lovingly as Debbie, passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 73, in Denton, Texas, after an 11-year, courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Debbie was a devout woman of God, a loving wife, a devoted mother and sister, and a true light to everyone she encountered. Her faith carried her through every season of life.
“I have fought the fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
Born on November 21, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Reverend Raymond and Yvonne Johnson, Debbie grew up with a vibrant spirit and a heart that naturally drew people to her. She married the love of her life, Vince Rosen, on September 7, 1985, and together they built a beautiful family and a life full of love, laughter, joy, and purpose.
Debbie’s true heart and passion, from her first breath to her last, was first, foremost, and always her family. Her biggest joy in life was the family she and Vince shared and the birth of their two sons - Max and Jason. Throughout her life, her devotion and love for her siblings was obvious to all. She loved fiercely and fully and will be deeply missed.
Debbie also had an amazing flair for style, fashion, and interior design. She adored flowers, dogs, Broadway shows, reading, movies, and treasured trips to Hawaii. She loved all holidays and never missed any opportunity to decorate her home - as anyone who ever visited during a holiday season will readily testify! Christmas in the Rosen home was truly something to behold as Vince and Debbie transformed into Santa and Ms. Claus, decorating with a joy that was absolutely contagious.
Debbie was an unmatched force in everything she touched, including holding several executive level roles in major financial companies. Her remarkable career included serving as President of Associates Home Equity Services, Managing Director at Countrywide Mortgage, and CEO of Settlement Capital Corporation. Her work ethic was legendary, matched only by her genuine love for the people around her. Debbie also poured herself into her community through Bible study, the Lions Club, Texas Lions Camp, Christ Haven, Hope Farm, Big Brothers, where she served as a board member, and her beloved Compass Church.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Vince; sons, Max Rosen and Jason Rosen; sisters, Jan Johnson and Diana Jones; and brother, David Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jeff Johnson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Compass Church, 2600 Hall Johnson Road, Colleyville, TX 76034. Services will be officiated by Jay Franks and Matthew LaGrange.
Flowers may be sent to Compass Church, or In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Texas Lion Camp (www.lionscamp.com), which was close to Debbie’s heart.
