Debra Smyers graduated from Irving High School in 1988. She worked as a medical transcripter for CNS. She was a member of Forest Ridge Church of Christ. She had a passion for caring for cats and dogs, selling Touchstone Crystal jewelry, Texas Ranger baseball and Bible learning.
She is survived by her husband, Craig Smyers; daughter, Marissa Jewel Herndon; stepdaughters Kristie Rene Smyers and Treasure Ann Lowe; granddaughters, Aspen Baker and Luciana Pacheco; mother, Graceiela De La Cruz and sister, Brenda Casanova.
A visitation for Debra will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd; Colleyville, TX 76034. Funeral service will Friday, November 12, 2021 at 12:30 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Bluebonnet Hall. Interment will follow the service at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Chris Smyers, Casiano Casanova, Cornelio Casanova, LaDarius Herndon, Thomas Nunez and Arturo Hisquierdo.
