Donella Jacqueline Morrison

She was born in Carthage, Missouri on January 3, 1930.

“Donna” was married to John McKee Morrison on October 29, 1952, in Joplin, Missouri. After John’s service in the army, the couple lived in Wisconsin and later in Naperville, Illinois. She retired from being an office manager and bookkeeper for Charles Ingersol and Associates in Wheaton, Illinois.

Donna was a past member of First Christian Church of Naperville, Illinois and later attended Grace Bible Church of Fort Worth, Texas. She enjoyed baking and had a passion for crafting. She made beautiful ceramics and shared this knowledge as a certified ceramics instructor. She loved sewing, which included making clothes for her grandchildren and intricately embroidered quilts. Later in life, she fashioned beaded jewelry.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John McKee Morrison, after nearly 53 years of marriage. She was also preceded by her youngest son, Joseph Mark Morrison.

She is survived by her son John Michael Morrison and wife Patrice of Fort Worth, Texas, son James Morrison and wife Lori of Richland Hills, Texas; grandchildren Joshua Morrison of Fort Worth, Texas, Matthew Morrison of Richardson, Texas, Caleb Morrison of Arlington, Texas, Melanie Fink and husband Jeremy of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jacob Morrison and wife Bethany of Royse City, Texas; and great grandchildren Liam Morrison, Lexi Morrison and Logan Fink.

Memorial services will be held with a visitation at 1:00 pm followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm and a graveside service at 3:00 pm at the Blue Bonnet Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
