Well, Mama

Well, mama, your time, has finally come, No more worry, but lots of fun! No more work nor toil nor pain, But a golden mansion in your name. Your soft, sweet touch & smiling face, Filled to the brim with loving grace. A friend to all who are in need, Looking for strays in which to feed. You raised us right and taught us well, And left us all with stories to tell. About a mom so strong and warm, That kept a family away from harm. You will be missed, that’s for sure, But all together, we will endure. Until that day, on Jesus’ knee, We’ll all be there and totally free!

To the greatest Mom there ever has been or ever will be. We love you with all our hearts!❤️

Dear Mama. When you look at the words "The perfect mom" beside it says Doris Shipman because that is what you will always be to me. You were always there when anyone needed anything, no matter whom it was. I remember calling you many times to see what you were doing and you would say 'I fixing to take my little old ladies to the dr.' (Or grocery store or etc.) and I would tell you 'But mama, you're as old as the old ladies ' and you would just laugh and say "oh". When you and daddy would come to Grby and the kids were teenagers yall would walk in our front door, see they were in trouble then would say 'see you later' and walk out the back door. You would tell me, 'those girls would never do anything to get in trouble. 'When you and daddy and Gene went fishing he said you always caught the first fish. Once you caught a 16inches bluecat. You reeled it in then sat down, looked up at them, and said, "That's the way it's done." I have so many memories of you and everyone of them are good, after all you will always be My Perfect Mom. I loved taking care of you and daddy for 4 years and I will always cherish those times we had. I remember whenever you talked about Mamaw Hudler you would get a peaceful look and say how much you love taking care of her. I can honestly say I now know that feeling. It has been my upmost honor. I You so much and I will see you again so save me a place next to you and daddy. Jeanna Faye

Doris has been my Mother in Law for over 48 years. Never in a million years would I expect to be so very blessed by having her as mine. Without a doubt, she more than fulfilled any expectations I could have hoped for. She was so kind to me, so thoughtful and loving.
I have always admired her temperament with her and all of her family.
I also admired her strong Christian beliefs and unwavering faith in the Lord.
She is and has been an inspiration to myself and all of those around her.
I love you Doris, and will join you someday.

We Mom, your with dad again, the love of your life! We are all so happy you all have been reunited together. Yes we are sad you are not here with us but our loss is your gain and we can live with that. I'm sure you know how much we all love you and miss you. It will take a while to let go of you, after all, you have been my mother for 67 years. We were truly blessed for all you are and were, you were the glue that held the family together all these years.
We love you Mom, even though you are in heaven now you are still with us in our hearts everyday.
We Love You and will be with you some day.
