

A third generation Texas native, she was born May 13, 1931 to Louise Thomson Sanders and Sudie Frank Sanders in Fort Worth, Texas
She is survived by sons Scott Ausburn, Gene Jones, Jr, daughters, Marthalaine (Marty) Ringler, Christie Jones, and Kelly Guyon. She also leaves behind 16 precious grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, and her brothers, Ronnie, Donald, and Dudie Sanders
Those who have gone before her and welcoming her now include her husband of 49 years, Darrell Jones, her mother and father, grandparents, and her precious aunt, Pearl Milligan.
A retired nurse, she worked in CCU at Arlington Memorial Hospital for many years. She was an accomplished seamstress, baker of beautiful birthday cakes, creator of a multitude of costumes, wedding garters, wedding dresses, and beautiful baby blankets and quilts. She loved growing flowers and plants and feeding the birds. She spent her life taking care of others as a wife, mother, grandmother and nurse. She never forgot a birthday, and loved her family so well and always made them feel special and important.
She was a proud member of St Peter’s Orthodox Church in Fort Worth and loved all the babies and children she kept in the nursery and saw many generations grow.
