

Edith Clydene Bass, affectionately known as Memaw to her family, leaves a legacy of strength and love. Clydene was best know for her love of family and her faith and trust in The Lord Jesus Christ. She let her light shine in the unconditional love and kindness that she shared with all those she was around. The melodies of her soul touched the hearts of many and has left an impression that will be treasured for years to come. She impacted people with her tender care, words of advice, selfless giving and nurturing heart. She emulated the ultimate woman described in Proverbs 31 and because of that, her family “arises and calls her blessed!”
Clydene has been the Matriarch of her family since 2002.
She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur Lee and Dora Edna White; son, Gary Daniel Bass; granddaughter, Linda Nolen; sisters, Evelyn Alene Morrow, Ivy Laverne Hall, Dorothy Leona Podolsky, Margie Marie White; brothers, Othel C. White, Marvin Lee White and Harold Lester White.
She is survived by her children; Margaret Jane Balderas and spouse, Al and Steven Craig Bass and spouse, Jennifer; grandchildren; Cindie Knight, Damon Balderas, Kasie Person, Karen Bass, Whitney Kindrick, Jordan Christian, Alden Boyd and Delaney Bass; 15 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Brenda Bass.
