

Elaine Yvonne Eye was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Elaine will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
She was the daughter of Edwin and Edith Stone. Elaine grew up in Seattle, Washington.
Elaine enjoyed her college years, which may have been a challenge with all of the academics, responsibilities, and the sudden freedom that accompanied them, but Elaine was able to manage the balancing act. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Early Education from Seattle Pacific University in 1972.
Empathic and loyal, Elaine was committed to making her new family happy.
Elaine worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Elaine was blessed with two daughters, Christy and Melody.
Fortunately, Elaine enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Elaine worked diligently and did her best to succeed in her career. Elaine was a teacher who taught everything from Pre-K to sixth grade, and she home-schooled her own children for 13 years. She taught at all different levels, from Pre-K to college, to adult education. She had a successful, broad career as an independent sales consultant for Pampered Chef, Dorling Kindersley, World Book Encyclopedia, and Doterra. Elaine always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Elaine was a lover of animals and cherished her pets. Her family was rounded out by her loving cat Angel.
Elaine passed away on April 16, 2016 in Colleyville, Texas. Elaine fought a brave 5 year battle against cancer. Elaine is survived by her daughter Christy and her husband Brandon Jeffries; her daughter Melody, and her loving cat, Angel. Services were held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Colleyville, Texas.
Simply stated, Elaine was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Elaine leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Elaine Yvonne Eye.

Elaine Yvonne Stone Eye was born on December 29th, 1953 in Oregon and grew up in Seattle, Washington. She graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 1972 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Education. She settled in North Augusta, South Carolina where she met her husband, James Eye. Their first date was to the second Star Wars movie. They were married on August 3, 1981 and moved to Oklahoma where their oldest daughter, Christine was born in January of 1984. Elaine and James' second daughter, Melody was born in Houston in April 1989. Elaine was a teacher who taught everything from Pre-K to sixth grade, and she home-schooled her own children for 13 years. She taught at all different levels, from Pre-K to college, to adult education. She had a successful, broad career as an independent sales consultant for Pampered Chef, Dorling Kindersley, World Book Encyclopedia, and Doterra. She survived five years with cancer and fought a good fight. She was always cheerful and smiling. Elaine is survived by her daughter Christy and her husband Brandon Jeffries; her daughter Melody, and her cat, Angel.
