She was born in Electra, TX on November 23, 1928 to Thomas Franklin Trentham and Mary Magdalene Barrett. Emily graduated from Electra High School. She was married to the late Andrew Hamby on November 28, 1946.
Emily worked in the retail business for several years. She was a long time member of the Hurst Church of God and had a passion for sewing, cooking and made lots of sweets.
She is survived by two daughters, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two brothers. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 10 am at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home with the private graveside service to follow.
