Freida Lee White of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 82. She was born on December 29, 1941 in Estelline, Texas. Freida was a devoted preacher’s wife who supported her husband, Calvin, in his work for the Lord throughout their 46 years of marriage.
She had a compassionate heart, especially for children and animals. Freida dedicated her time to caring for others. She loved working in the day care at Heritage Church of Christ and providing comfort to the elderly and infirm at other times. She enjoyed her cat and dog pets. She had a special love for horses and had a knack for picking race winners, though she never gambled.
Freida is survived by a brother, Roger Malone, her 2 sons; Robb White and his wife Carol and Stan White and his wife Stacey; her dearly loved 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin White; her mother and stepfather Gladys and Hugh Fambro; her father James Malone; one brother, and an infant daughter, Gladys Marie. Freida came from a lineage of strong men and women and took pride in her west Texas heritage.
Services for Freida will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Tx 76034. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 4th, 2024 from 5-7pm. Her funeral service will take place on Friday, April 5th, 2024 at 10am.
Freida Lee White will be remembered for her kind and loving nature, her unwavering dedication to God, her family, and her selfless service to others. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and faith that will be cherished by all who knew her.
