Born on April 4, 1928, Richard lived a long, happy and full life. His younger career life was spent as a welder at Bell Helicopter. He eventually branched out on his own and started a rental company, an excavation company, and a western wear store he ran with his wife Shirley. His wake up call was every single morning at 4am, turning the coffee pot on and feeding horses before he left for his usually long work days. He loved the outdoors and went camping often and regularly went on camping excursions with his siblings and cousins where they traveled extensively and a lot of laughs and crazy shenanigans ensued. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Couch, as well as his parents, Ida Bell and Walter Couch, and his siblings, Pearl, Jewell, Patsy June, Ruth, Bobbie Joe, Bill, Walter.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Christy Moss, his sons Dickey Couch and Ted Couch, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. His memory will be cherished by those who knew him and leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him and were fortunate enough to cross his path.
