She was born in Nuremberg, Germany on February 7, 1930. She was married to Charles John Larkin, Colonel, Retired / United States Air Force who preceded her in death in August 2013.
Gerda is survived by her daughters Aliya Larkin and Aziza Larkin Young, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
A private funeral will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery followed by a Memorial Gathering at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home from 2:30 pm-4:30 pm.
