Mrs. Gloria Jean Bigham

Gloria Jean Pierce Bigham of Richland Hills, Texas passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 in Haltom City, Texas. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt to all that knew and loved her. She was born on March 31, 1935 a few minutes before her twin sister Golda in Grapevine, Texas to Robert and Evvie Pierce. Gloria was married to the love of her life, Leslie, for 66 years.

She enjoyed reading, playing tennis, and bowling. She loved making peach cobbler for events with her church family. She cared for many cats and dogs throughout her life and was a magnet to strays. She enjoyed coaching girls softball and being active in her girls' school PTA. She was dedicated to her family and spent most of her time raising her 3 girls.

Gloria is survived by her brother Oscar Pierce and wife Carolyn; sister-in-law Lavetta Pierce; daughters Karen Grogg and husband Tim, Kim Wyche and husband Brian, and Kathy Bigham; granddaughters Wendy Fisher and husband Drew, and Jamie Wyche; grandsons Justin Wyche and wife Amanda, William Scott and Kaleb Wyche, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie, daughter Debbie, grandson Garrett, parents Robert and Evvie, brothers Robert and Orval, and sisters Rozelle, Billie, and twin sister Golda.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 4:30-6:30pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, Texas. The graveside service will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 10:00am at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Garden of Rainbow, Colleyville, Texas.
