Gloria was born on December 15, 1933, one of nine children, to Harley and Ruth Snyder, in Prichard, Alabama. She was married to her beloved husband Tom on July, 5 1958, at First Baptist Church, Prichard Alabama, the same church where Gloria was redeemed by the blood of her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Together they were blessed with three beautiful daughters. Tom proceeded her in death in December of 1973.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Cindy Rohrbough, Susan Knowles, and Celia Darrah. Also by five grandsons, Thomas and Josiah Knowles, Lee Rohrbough, Matthew and Ian Darrah, and one granddaughter Kate Rohrbough-Mann. She is also survived by her sisters Juanita Smith, Joyce Williams, Sara Harms, and Ann Bond. In October 2000, Gloria retired from the National Weather Service, as an administrative assistant to the Director of southern region headquarters, Fort Worth, Texas. She enjoyed family gatherings, cooking, reading, and studying the Bible to learn as much as possible about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, with whom she has now gone to live with eternally.
