Gloria C. Vaughn

Gloria graduated from Grand Falls High school and then went on to receive her Bachelor's degree in teaching at the University of North Texas. She married Homer Vaughn on June 17th, 1950. Gloria had a career in teaching spanning 35 years for the HEB School District.

She was a member of Community Church of Possum Kingdom. She was also involved in the Chamber of Commerce of Possum Kingdom, Possum Kingdom Women's Club, PK Auxiliary, and Charlie's Angels Senior Center. Gloria had a love for playing bridge with the ladies. Gloria also loved cooking, caring for her dogs, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 40 years, Homer Vaughn. She is survived by her two daughters Kathy Coffee and Debra Golliday. She will also be remembered by her four grandchildren Chris Golliday, Carie Blackwell, Donnie Golliday, and Colleen Hart. As well as 5 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Services for Gloria will be held Friday, September 26th, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park 5725 Colleyville Blvd. Colleyville, TX 76034. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. and will be followed by the funeral at 2 p.m.
