I miss my grandmother very much. I am relieved she is in heaven now, walking with angels, her family, and Papa. What I miss is that I will never get to kiss or see her smile again, those big brown eyes, and her sassiness made me smile. She was so independent for so long. That is such a rare quality. She lived a full and happy life. My daughters will miss you but will always have wonderful memories of you. I love you grandma. I can still hear you and know you are watching all of us on earth. ????????????

My thoughts, love and prayers are with each of you. Cherish the memories that she leaves behind. May you smile when you think of just how strong and independent she was-Helen did drive from California to North Carolina with
four young boys-determination! We were fortunate to have had her as a part of our life. She was a part of "The Greatest Generation" and will be greatly missed! Love, Your Aunt Betty Jo

My deepest sympathy to all of the family of my dear friend, Helen. She will be sorely missed, but always remembered for the loving, strong, independent woman that she was.
