Chris was my Uncle from a previous marriage. He was a wonderful uncle to us. He had a beautiful smile that was so contagious. He was a very high spirited man. He enjoyed running and was big on staying in shape and good health. When we came to visit, he had fun activities for us to do or go to. It was always fun at his house. Uncle Chris was a family man and loved by all who knew him. Uncle Chris may you find the peace and comfort you so deserve in heaven. RIP Uncle Chris.

In my years working with Henry, I found him to be a true Southern Gentleman. Our prayers for all his family. 

I knew and worked with Chris in two capacities.  For 17 years, we were two of the ten US DOT Regional Transportation Coordinators.  Chris in the Southwest, myself in the Northeast.  We engaged in matters of emergency preparedness and response matters involving all DOT Administrations, States, and many Federal agencies in our respective areas.  Following my retirement, we became colleagues serving with the FEMA/REP program for an additional 11 years.  We remained in frequent contact until his passing.

I appreciated each of the many occasions I had the opportunity to work with Chris.  His personal and professional attributes were beyond reproach.  It was a privilege to know Chris.  I treasure his memory.

  

One of the greatest friends I have ever met!  Although not thru blood,  I considered him and Kay along with their families part of mine!  He had a heart the size of Texas!  The first time I met him I felt his love and kindness.  I use to love to tease him about his “Cowboys” when they had a bad game!  I offer my condolences to Kay and everyone that he touched their lives one way or another!  Thank you Chris for being part of my life,  and I will forever cherish our friendship! A few people make life brighter and better.   It was my privilege to work with Chris in the FEMA REP Program.  The intent of the program is to help State and local government be prepared, capable and resilient.  As an preparedness exercise evaluator, Chris was a mentor, insightful, always positive and always encouraging.   He told the story of an event in a way that helped us all to see the path to not only better fulfill our responsibilities, but to be better people, to encourage our partners and coworkers.   It is hard to imagine a world without his wit and humor.  His light shines from heaven now.  His light shines in our memory.  

Always in awe of Uncle Hank!  Thanks for sending those sermon tapes in my early ministry days.  So glad for your encouragement.

Working with Chris was always a joy and an opportunity to learn how to become a better person and evaluator.  His attention to detail and grasp of the bigger picture never ceased to amaze me.  I shall miss his friendship and guidance.  
May the Lord grant Chris rest eternal and comfort us all.

I knew Chris through his work with FEMA in his later years. A tremendous mentor and friend. I will deeply miss our conversations of traveling, his FAA time, credit unions, and his warm talks of his family. Heaven has gained a gem and we will miss his smile and  friendship. May God grant his family peace beyond understanding in this time. 



To Chris' family and friends:  I worked with Chris at ICF for many years, and always found him to be a friendly and conscientious colleague.  We worked some of our exercises together and he could always be counted on to do the right thing and provide excellent advice.  As you will, I will miss Chris.  May he rest in peace and may his family find comfort in their memories of Chris.

I am deeply saddened to see a loved cousin depart from this world.

Henry (Chris) served for many, many years as a respected and valuable member of the Board of Directors of Fort Worth Community Credit Union. He was always an intelligent and rational voice of reason. I appreciated and counted on his support and leadership during my years at FTWCCU. My sincere condolences to Kay and family during this difficult time.

Chris was the quintessential professional, capable, competent, caring, and compassionate, and a clever sense of humor.  He always shared a smile on every encounter.  He served as a mentor for me and many others, sharing his experience, guidance, and wisdom.  Above all, he was a man of great faith in Jesus.  He just outran us to heaven.  Will miss him here, but will see him again in paradise.

My sincere condolences and love to Kay, Lori, Wendy and your families.  We have temporarily lost a great man in our lives but have wonderful memories to sustain us.  I love you and will miss you, my big brother, until we meet again.  "Love to all"  Edie 

Aunt Kay, I'm so sad to hear about Uncle Hank. Even though we didn't see you guys often, we still think of you. I have so many great memories of when you were here for our wedding! I'll never forget how amazing you both were during that time. I'm so lucky to have gotten that time with you both. Uncle Hank, you will be missed so much. Until we meet again, watch over the family! Play some cards with the family up there. I love you and Aunt Kay so much! Rest in Paradise.

A very sad day today hearing that a VERY CLOSE FRIEND of almost 40 years has passed, way too soon.  Chris was a true professional in everything he did.  He was a brilliant, hard working co-worker that will be missed forever by our retired FEMA/REP  Consulting Community.

I am so sorry to hear this about such a nice man. After working for FTWCCU for 25 years I got to know a little about him. God has surely made a place for this kind soul in heaven. I will be praying for him and his family. R.I.P.
