Herb had a passion for reading. He also enjoyed fishing and watching sports and western movies. He was married to the love of his life, Cara Lee for 22 years. Together they enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors and shared a special passion for traveling and bird watching. Herb retired from Lockheed Martin after 35 years of service and served his country in the United States Navy as a young man.
He was preceded in death by his father Herbert, mother Pauline, and wife Cara Lee, in addition to his two brothers, Terry and Scotty, and two sisters, Marie and Faye. He is survived by Michele Hopper, married to George, Lisa Pilgrim, married to Mike, Ruth Bennett, married to James, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The service will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel at 10am Wednesday, December 23, 2020 with burial immediately following. Lunch will be served afterwards to celebrate his life and share memories.
