Ina LaVerne Campbell

Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home with interment to follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: Friends are cordially invited to attend a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Cherry Drawing Room of Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.

LaVerne was born April 25, 1927, in Fort Worth to Joseph and Rosa Lee Cooper Hogg. She worked for Pangburn Candy Co. for 20 years. She met many of her closest friends during her time there. LaVerne then worked for the FWISD in the food service department where she was famous for her pies.

LaVerne's faith was very important to her and she loved gardening, quilting, traveling with her husband and cooking for her family. LaVerne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 12 siblings and two granddaughters.

Survivors: She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles Campbell; children, Chad Campbell and wife, Linda, and Karen and husband, Don Champlin; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends
