Dear Deaton Family, 

Our hearts were saddened to hear of the passing of your loved one. We are honored to have spent some very wonderful times with Jim  over the past years.
He was crazy about his family and always made their friends feel very special to be included in his warm family circle. 
We will treasure our memories of such a special person.

Dear Ramona and Family,
Sorry for your loss.  Jim will be missed by many.  He was a stand-up-guy with a great sense of humor.   When I pledged Tau Kappa Epsilon in September 1966 he was like a legend.  We  had many good times at NMHU and I always looked forward to seeing you and him at our reunions.  He was definitely one of the good guys.   Our family will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.
