I remember Ray so well at the worship services of the church. He was always dressed so perfectly with tie and scarf to match. He will be missed by all of us and never forgotten.

Ray is my ice cream eating buddy. He loved when I would make homemade ice cream in my old-fashioned freezer in classic vanilla. He is the reason that I have found a love for thick sliced bacon and I may never have found my love for my air fryer had Ray not shared his secrets with me. Pat and Ray have been my neighbors for 20 years but to say "we are neighbors" really downplays the relationship between our families. They are family. Ray and I have taken many walks together, sat in the grass and visited while he pulled weeds. Ray loved to cook on the grill and would often share his delicious creations with my family. One of the most recent things he made for me was chicken wings in the air fryer and candied bacon. When Ray lost the freedom to walk steadily, he would get in his truck and drive four houses down to bring me something. Then I would stand at his truck window for half an hour and we would visit. I'm going to miss my friend but I find comfort and joy in knowing that he did not suffer in his passing, he was doing what he enjoyed and he will be waiting for me in Heaven one day with a homemade Blizzard in his hand (Buttetfinger of course).
Till we meet again...
I love you good buddy, Jolana
