

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jason Clegg, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2026, surrounded by family, after a hard fought battle with liver disease. He was 46 years old.
Jason was born on January 23, 1980, in Bedford, Texas. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished son, brother, and friend. His greatest joy in life was his family, especially his four-year-old daughter, Julia, who was truly the light of his life. He treasured every moment spent with those he loved and was happiest when surrounded by family and friends.
Jason will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. Even through the challenges of his illness, he showed remarkable strength and courage. Though his battle with liver disease was difficult, he never fought alone and was surrounded by the love of his family until the very end.
Jason is survived by his loving wife, Kara Clegg; his beloved daughter, Julia Clegg; his mother, Debra Klyn and husband, Chet; his father, Dan Clegg and wife, Laura; his brother, Travis Clegg, wife, Brandy, and their four children; his brother, Ryan Clegg and wife, Chelsie; stepsiblings Tami and husband, Joe, Andrea, Chad and wife, Emily, and their son; Trevor and wife, Nicki, and their three children; Jeremy and wife, Dana, and their two children; Mike and wife, Breeze; brother-in-law, Dominic; sister-in-law, Gina and husband, Jordan; mother-in-law Debbie and husband, John; his beloved pets, Abby, Meow Meow, and Ron; along with many extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were touched by his kindness and love.
While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Jason is no longer suffering. His love, laughter, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family will forever remain in our hearts and in the memories of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Celebration of Jason’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Boulevard, Colleyville, Texas 76034. The family invites you to continue celebrating Jason after the service at one of his favorite hangouts, Bedford Ice House.
The family welcomes all who knew and loved Jason to join them in celebrating his life and the lasting impact he made on those around him.
