

Jason Ellis was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Jason will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
Jason was born on January 24, 1981 at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. He was the son of June Brown. Jason grew up in Euless, TX.
Jason was raised with one sibling. He had one younger sister Crystal. Jason was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings. He and his siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
As a young boy, Jason had a number of interests. Like most children, he enjoyed playing and making up games. He was curious about the world around him and was often eager to explore it. Jason was an active child who took part in baseball for 1 year. He was a scout. In his spare time he liked ride his bike, skate board, hang out with his friends, working on cars and computers. Jason's memorable achievements included rebuilding his 1962 mustang with his Grandpa. However, to Jason, the most fun to be had was simply playing and spending time with his friends.
A typical teenager, Jason had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. He graduated from Trinity High School in 1999. He enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers. His favorite class in high school was shop class. He will be remembered by his classmates as being a really good and true friend.
Always considered a “good” friend to those he knew, Jason enjoyed a broad group of acquaintances and several very close friends during his lifetime. While growing up, some of his best friends were Roger Fox, Jacob Blodgett and Jason Stegman. Later in life, he became friends with several people he worked with at E4D, Sabrina S, Emily K and Chandra D.
Jason worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Jason was blessed with one child, one daughter, Audrey.
Fortunately, Jason enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Jason worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. His primary occupation was false teeth mill builder & repair. He was employed for 13 years by E4D. Jason always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Jason enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuits were being with his daughter Audrey, cooking, video games, cooking, being with family and friends and more cooking. He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share his interests with others.
Jason found pleasure in sports. Jason was also something of a sports fan and enjoyed following his favorite events whenever he had the chance to do so. Tops on his list were basketball especially the Dallas Mavericks.
Jason enjoyed traveling and time away on vacations. It was a chance for him to renew and relax, to visit new places and experience new things. Favorite vacations included visiting his Uncle Dave in Nebraska.
Jason was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. One of his favorites was Punk, a grey tabby. They were best friends for 14 years.
Jason passed away on June 18, 2018 at At home in Hurst, TX. We think he had a heart attack, still waiting for the medical examiners report. He is survived by daughter Audrey, Mother & Stepfather June & Ray, Sister Crystal. Services were held at Bluebonnet Funeral Home. Jason was cremated at his request.
Simply stated, Jason was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Jason leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Jason Ellis.

Jason Ellis of Hurst, Tx, passed away on June 18, 2018 in Hurst, Tx. He will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, father, friend, and colleague to all that knew and loved him. He was born on January 24, 1981 in Fort Worth, Tx to June Brown. Jason loved his family, spending time with his daughter Audrey, friends and cooking. He cooked all of the meat for our family gatherings either by smoking, grilling or by this thing called an Anova precision cooker. He would help with car issues and any of the many type of computerized gadgets out there. Jason was a great dad to Audrey and spent as much time with her as he could.
Jason is survived by Audrey Ellis, daughter of Arlington, Texas, June Brown, mother and Ray Brown, stepfather both of Euless, Tx, Crystal Ellis, sister of Hurst, Tx, Alexus and Daveon Gipson, niece and nephew of Hurst, Tx.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lyman and Billie Sunderland of Hurst, Tx.
Jason's celebration of life service will be held from 2-5 o'clock pm on 6/30/18 at the funeral home Bluebonnet Hills.
