Vonnie and I are so sad to hear of Jean’s passing. Vonnie and Jean, together with 3 other friends took several Girls’ trips and had so much fun doing those. We love Jean and Carl so very much!  We also spent so many holidays and special events with them and their large family. We love their family so much. Jean is in Heaven and we look forward to being with her there.

Carl, Robbie, Candy and Steve our thoughts and prayers are with you ... Jeannie was a extraordinary lady that brought joy and love to everyone she met... She will be missed, hang on to all the memories.... Sending you all love and hugs... Sue and Bucky

We were so saddened to hear about the passing of your sweet  Jean, lovingly known to us as Q-tip. She was always so kind, caring, and thoughtful—a true light in everyone’s life. Her warmth and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Wishing you comfort and peace during this difficult time to the entire family.

I wish I had the way with words that you always had in all the cards and notes I got from you over the years. God knows I’m gonna miss those. From my earliest memories I always knew one thing about you and that was your unconditional love. For me time spent together was all I ever needed with you. 

I could never thank you enough for being so supportive of me. I’m gonna miss even the simple trips to Walmart with you. (I know you loved your Wally World) A lot of memories come to mind when I think of you. From driving halfway across the country with you, pop and aunt Pam to come spend some time in the summer to playing late night card games. The phone calls during football season when the cowboys are beating the redskins. (And hoping the phone didn’t ring when the redskins were beating the cowboys) And all the talks at the kitchen table about hopes, dreams, and some of the best life advice I could ever receive. Thank you for those  memories. 

Time is the greatest gift and the worst thief. But while I know that my time with you here is done it won’t be the last time I get with you. I am happy that you can now be at peace and with no pain. You can rejoice with the rest of our family in heaven. 

There will always be a space for you in my heart, a space that only my Nan could fill. Continue to send me signs from heaven when you can that will always put a smile on my face. I do wish that I could hug you just one more time.  

While I know I’m not with you I will know that for the rest of my life you will be with me. I will always do my best to let Presley know everything I can about you. She might not know it now but she will know just how much you loved her and what an amazing great grandmother(Nana) you are. I love you Nan I always will.

We'll never forget the day Robbie was talking to his mom.  She asked him if we were going to go out on "The Poontang?" Robbie asked her where her mind was. That it was a Pontoon, not a Poontang! She said "Oh, did I say that? I'm old school!" Our boat's name was officially changed that day! What a great memory! Jean/mom will be missed, but never forgotten. May she rest in peace .

We have been neighbors for 37 years and we could not ask for better
than Carl and Jean. When we were outside, we would have nice visits by the mailbox catching up on the latest family and neighborhood news.  Carl we are so sorry for your loss of Jean and your son Wayne; no one should have to endure this kind of loss.
