

Jean Elizabeth Davis, aged 85, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025, surrounded by her family. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and cherished friend. Jean touched the lives of many with her wisdom, humor and steadfast dedication to her family.
Born on October 23, 1939 in Leonardtown, Maryland. Jean dedicated her life to her family, always putting their needs first. She was known for unwavering support, comforting presence and love of cooking. Jean found joy in singing, crafting and the occasional outing, with red bag in-tow to the closest casino.
At a young age Jean was involved with the Hollywood Methodist Church and was very instrumental in their musical department developing and mentoring the young members.
As a talented singer Jean would perform at the church with Anna Glenn who was the wife of the distinguished Astronaut and U.S. Senator John Glenn. Also performing a duet with legendary Patsy Cline. Jean received the Navy Gold Cross from Secretary of the Navy, Francis P Mathews at the tender young age of 10 for her esteemed musical accomplishments in religious music.
She is survived by her husband Carl of 54 years, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends.
All services will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park 5725 Colleyville Blvd. Colleyville, TX 76034. Jean's visitation will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Her funeral will be held Saturday, May 31st, at 2 p.m. Following the funeral Jean will be laid to rest. Upon the conclusion of all services a reception will be held in Jean's memory.
