He was born in Ft Worth, Texas on November 1st, 1946. Jerry graduated from R L Paschal high school in 1964 and received an Associate degree in accounting from TCC (TCJC). He served in the US Army from 1966-1968 then served in the Army Reserves until 1972. Jerry worked at Bell Helicopter for 42 years, retiring in 2011.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Mays; grandson, Chandler Mays (Hannah Myers); sister, Jeannee Fletcher; nephews Scott Lee, Craig Lee, and Donny Lee.
