She was born in Dallas, TX on November, 2, 1952, to Ozie and Roberta Hatton.
Jodi graduated from Kimball High School and then received her Bachelor’s degree from Hardin Simmons University in 1974.
She was married to Murry Berry on May 25, 1974.
Jodi worked as a teacher for Fort Worth ISD for 42 years. She loved being able to make an impact in so many children’s lives over her years as an educator.
She was a member of the Fort Worth Retired School Employees Association as well as Delta Kappa Gamma, and had a passion for serving her church and travelling.
She was survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Amy Berry of Mansfield, TX, and grandchildren, Evan and Madison.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Murry Berry, her parents, Ozie and Roberta Hatton, her sister, Leah Berard, and her brother Ozie Otto Hatton, Jr.
Her viewing will be held at 2:00 P.M. and funeral service following at 3:00 P.M. on January 8, 2023 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
