Jo Ann Buckman

Jo Ann Buckman, age 87, of Hurst, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022. Jo was born Monday, September 3, 1934 in El Reno, Oklahoma to parents, Bonnie and Charles L Rowlett. She was the oldest of her siblings; Sharon Driggers, Paula Berry and Roy Rowlett. Jo Ann attended school and graduated from El Reno High School in El Reno, Oklahoma.

Jo Ann and married Edwin R. Buckman on February 7, 1957 and were married for 65 years. She worked for Lone Star Gas, GTE and Jo Buckman Consulting with Potter's House in Dallas, Texas. Jo Ann's career was in HR Benefits for all companies.

Jo Ann is survived by her daughter, Debbie Arthur, son, Mike Buckman and daughter-in-law, Janet R. Buckman and daughter, Patti Buckman Malone; grandchildren, Amie Arthur, Andy Malone and spouse, Vicki Malone, Cris Arthur and spouse, Christi Arthur, Nicholas Buckman and Kristin Buckman-Kidd and spouse, Kolby Kidd; great grandchildren Ryan Malone, Halie Malone, Ty Malone, Rhyder Malone, Kingston Kidd, Bella Buckman and McKenzie Buckman and a great great grandchild in September 2022. Preceded in death by husband, Edwin R. Buckman; grandchildren, Matthew Malone, Michael Buckman and siblings, Paula Berry Rowlett and Roy Rowlett.

Mother's favorite pass time was watching the Ohio State Buckeyes football and basketball. Nini was a present parent and grandparent and always thought of her family first. She was the guidance and the glue and rock to ground this family, no doubt.
