Joan Nancy Urban, age of 86, of Southlake,Texas, passed away on February 13, 2025. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and colleague to all who knew and loved her. Joan was born on July 11,1938 in Reading, Pennsylvania to John and Ruth Gately.
She worked as a registered nurse early in her career and later became a highly regarded breeder of Labrador Retrievers. Joan loved travel, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her son Mike Urban of Keller, Texas, her daughter Kathy Wagner of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, her daughter-in-law Robin Urban of Keller, Texas, her son-in-law Todd Wagner of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, and her grandchildren, Daniel and Evan Urban of Carrollton, Texas, and Michael Watrous of Dallas, Texas.
The visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 AM on February 18 at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on February 18th at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
