

John will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, & friend to all that knew him. John was born on September 20, 1964 in Franklin, Indiana to John and Patricia Fleeman.
John loved anything with a motor but his passion was airplanes and he spent his career in aerospace. The last 20+ years at Associated Air Center as the Director of Maintenance and after the closing of AAC his final year at Comlux Completions as Head of Maintenance. John spent his free time with family, friends, and of course flying airplanes. John is loved dearly, will be missed beyond words, and forever remembered.
John is survived by his wife, Karen Elaine Fleeman of Bedford, Texas; brother, Jamie Fleeman of Canton, Georgia; his daughters, Emily Bates and her husband, Brandon Bates of Forney, Texas, Savanna Dowdy of Bedford, Texas, and Ashlee Dowdy of Bedford, Texas; his grandchildren, Sterling Bates, Annalee Bates, and Landry Bates of Forney, Texas, Caiden Douglas and Alex Contreras of Bedford, Texas; his niece, Brandy Fleeman of Canton, Georgia and nephew, Jarod Young of Canton, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his father John Reed Fleeman, Sr., his mother, Pamela May Fleeman, and his sister Wendy Jo Fleeman Young of Woodstock, Georgia.
The visitation will be held from 6 – 8 o’clock in the evening on Friday, August 30th at J.E. Foust & Son funeral home located at 523 S. Main Street, Grapevine, TX 76051. The Graveside Service will be held at 10 o’clock a.m. on Saturday, August 31 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park with a reception to follow in the family lounge at the funeral home at 11 o’clock in the morning.
