

John Wesley McDaniel, passed away on January 24th, 2021. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, Papa, son, brother, and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on January 8th, 1956 ( Elvis’s Birthday as he liked to tell people) to Jerrold Audley McDaniel and Pauline Barbara Carboneau McDaniel in Hampton, Virginia.
John and his family moved around frequently due to his parents being in the military. They settled down in North Richland Hills, TX. This is where is met his loving wife of 42 years Dena Ann Dennis McDaniel. They too, settled down in North Richland Hills and raised their 2 children Ryan Wesley and Leslie Anne. Through the years John enjoyed hunting, riding dirt bikes, pool table nights at his Dads house, cooking, playing cards, caring for numerous animals, taking kids to sporting events, weekends at Marshall Creek, trying to moon walk, vacations and spending time with family and friends. He provided for his family through the years glazing (hanging off of very tall buildings to install glass) and then managing glass operations until the end of his career. He would have given the shirt off his back to anyone and did many times he was simply one of a kind. He will be remembered as a fun, hardworking, man who loved his family and friends fiercely often being called a Mother Hen. He will be dearly missed.
Survived by wife Dena Ann Dennis McDaniel, brother James Earl McDaniel, son Ryan Wesley McDaniel (wife Stacy McDaniel), daughter Leslie Anne Caban (husband Angel Caban), and Grandchildren, Cooper Wesley Caban, Sophia Ryan McDaniel, Maci Ann Caban, and Beckham Wesley McDaniel, and other beloved relatives and friends. He was proceeded in death by his parents Jerrold and Pauline McDaniel.
