HALTOM CITY -- Former Mayor of Haltom City, Johnnie B. Lee, 87, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016, of natural causes. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2015 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Johnnie was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Betty Lee; grandson, Alvin Lee Prewett; son-in-law, Michael J. Furrie; and brother, J.C. Lee. Survivors: He is survived by daughters, Genie Storm and her husband, Winfred, Lillian "Sissy" Furrie; granddaughters, Elizabeth Goines and husband, Kerry, Charee Null Davis and husband, Gary, Tina McEntire and husband, Kevin; grandson, Oscar "Bubba" Prewett and wife, Nancy, 11 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
