Jolene Franklin, four days shy of 90 years old, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016. Jolene was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was greatly involved in each member of her family's life, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jolene loved fishing, gardening and, above all, loved God. She was compassionate and caring to all those she met. Jolene was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie, her sister, Gladys; and her daughter, Pat Taylor. Survivors: Jolene is survived by her daughter, Delbra Buyers; her son, Mark Flippo and wife, Leslie; son-in-law, Walter Taylor; Vicki and Bobbie Wharton and Jerry Franklin; grandchildren, Ricky Buyers and wife, Kirsten, April Soward and Wendy Lambert and her husband, Chris, Jason Flippo and Brandy Flippo; great-grandchildren, Johanna, Kailee Beth, Taylor and Lizzie; sisters, Maudine Presley and Nelda Bennett; brothers, James Cash and Winford Cash; and many extended family and friends.
