Milt Risenhoover, of North Richland Hills, Texas, passed away on the 7th of March, 2018 in Grapevine, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on January 3rd, 1948 in Clarendon, Texas to Jasper and Willa Risenhoover. Milt graduated from L.D. Bell High School, and attended Texas Wesleyan University. He married Karla Virginia Browning on January 24th, 1970 in Bedford, Texas. Milt worked for years for a variety of Honda Dealerships where he worked in both retail and wholesale parts sales. Milt loved to fish, play 42 and pinochle, and was known for a love of cooking and feeding massive amounts of chili to people as a demonstration of his love. Milt is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karla Risenhoover of North Richland Hills, Texas; daughter Andrea Patton and husband Aaron of Troutdale, Oregon; daughter Misty Lynch and husband Sean of North Richland Hills, Texas; 4 grandchildren: Ashlynn Patton, Alexandra (Lexi) Lynch, Natalie Lynch and Julie Lynch; sister Vilela Shelton and husband Allen of Delhi, California; and a whole host of extended family to whom he was a beloved son, brother and uncle. The visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on Friday, March 9th, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 10th, 2018 at North Richland Hills Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
