A light in New York has gone out as we mourn the loss of Joseph Henri Sillan, who peacefully passed away at the age of 51 in Keller, Texas.. Joseph, affectionately known as Joe, was a remarkable soul whose presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew him. His memory will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have been touched by his kindness and light.
Born in the heart of New York City, Joe's love for life was evident from an early age. He found solace and serenity in the embrace of the beach, the escape of a good book, the thrill of video games, the camaraderie of sports, and the unconditional love of dogs. His smile was infectious, capable of lighting up even the darkest of rooms, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
A passionate fan of the New York Yankees, Giants, and Boston Celtics, Joe's enthusiasm for sports was unmatched. He cheered fervently for his teams, finding joy in their triumphs and resilience in their defeats.
Joe was preceded in death by his loving mother, Priscilla Sillan, who welcomed him into the world with boundless love and affection. He leaves behind his father, Pierre, whose unwavering support and guidance shaped the man he became. Joe's brothers, Robert and Peter, sister-in-law Amy, and his cherished nephew, Blake, and niece, Eloise, will continue to carry forward his legacy of love and laughter.
Though Joe may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever reside in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
With love and remembrance,
The Sillan Family
