Joshua Paul Parsons, 21, of Euless, Texas, left this earth on February 5, 2025. Born on January 28, 2004, to Michael and Debbie Parsons, Joshua was a cherished son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend.
Josh was known and loved for their incredible sense of humor, individual style, magnetic charisma, ability to lead without being overbearing, flair for making any task fun, and for flashing their million-dollar smile. They were the person that made you want to be around them - if only to see what exciting and fun thing was going to happen next. If you needed a good laugh or a good friend, Josh was who you wanted to be with.
Josh had a natural talent for music, especially for playing the guitar. Having taught themself the instrument, they were a part of several bands among their friends, and the ability they had when it came to this art brought joy to all who interacted with them.
Josh was a friend who would help out in any way they could, who showed kindness to everyone they met and who loved others with their whole heart. When they called you a friend, it was without condition or reservation.
Josh was like a shooting star. Their brilliance was brief and is gone too soon, but for the fortunate few who got to observe them, their glow and journey brought joy, hope, and a feeling of wonder.
Josh is survived by his Grandparents, Randy and Doris (Lou) Smith; Parents, Michael Parsons and Debbie Parsons; Brother, James Parsons; Grandparents, Michael and Marilyn Parsons; Uncle, Eddie Wright; Aunts, Shelly Smith Hubbard and her husband Chris, Marilyn Clark and her husband Jim, and Stephanie Parsons. He will be remembered fondly by his cousins Nethanel Minnix, J.T. Clark, Xander and Lucas Hubbard, as well as countless friends.
Services to celebrate Josh will be held on Friday, February 21st at 10:00 am at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, Texas.
