Joy H. Hughes, a loving wife and mother passed away peacefully on October 25th, 2024 at the age of 84.
She was born in Marlow, Oklahoma on July 5th, 1940. She was the youngest of 10 children, Joy was a loving wife and mother
She loved and cherished her Lord and Savior, and Joy loved her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, going to church, and talking on the phone with her kids and family.
Joy was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Thomas Hughes and daughter Kim. Survived by sons Jeffrey Hughes and wife Lisa, Jeremy Hughes and wife Krysi: four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two sisters: Linda (Frankie) McCraw and Freeda Holdbrook.
A funeral for Joy will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034, followed by a committal from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
