Joyce Ann Gleason

Joyce Ann Gleason, 86, of Euless, Texas, passed away on October 24, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Joyce was born on June 13, 1940, in Alma, Michigan, to Catherine and Homer Wood. She married Dave Gleason on August 22, 1964, and together they created a life of love and purpose.

Joyce worked as a hairdresser in her early years and later used her creative talents as a floral designer, bow stylist, and children's gift showroom owner. She possessed a great talent to decorate her world and the world of others.

She was a devoted mother to her three children, grandmother to five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She loved quilting, gardening, and spending time with family.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dave; her children, Bobby Gleason, Wendy Justice (Andy), and Emily Stanfield (Jen); her five grandchildren, Mandy English (Paul), Jon Knott, Katy Thomson (Logan), Cody Sigman (Halie), and Jordan Knott; her five great-grandchildren, Trey English, Jane Thomson, Hank Thomson, Margaret Thomson, and Grayson Sigman; and her brother, Richard Wood (Wendy).

She was preceded in death by her parents and older brother, Robert.

Joyce will be remembered for her creativity, her love of family, and the beauty she brought into the lives around her.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 30, at Northway Church, 3877 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75229. A private committal service will take place at a later date.
