Joyce worked as a secretary and retired from Bell Helicopter.
The eldest of five siblings, she was the matriarch of her family. She loved to read and sew but was happiest in her kitchen with family and friends.
She is survived by son, David Phillips and wife Lisa, granddaughters, Kristen Campbell and husband Eason, Julia Steklachick and husband Brandon, grandson Ryan Emery and wife Amanda, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of cherished nieces and nephews and dear friends.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2020 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, Texas.
