Mrs. Joyce Smith

Joyce Smith was born in Macon, Ga. on September 4, 1945, and graduated from Shelbyville (In.) High School in 1963. Joyce is a 1967 graduate of Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Mo. She married the love of her life, Michael Smith, in 1969.

She was a devoted Christian, who loved and served the Lord. She was an amazing wife, mom, and grandma, and loved her family fiercely. She doted on her grandkids and great-grandkids. Her family, friends, and coworkers all knew she was something special. Her hobbies included spending time outside working in the yard, in her many flower gardens, and traveling the world with her husband.

Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah; her Father, Thomas; and her brother, Tommy.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Smith; a son, Jarrod Smith; and daughters, Amy Shipps and April Reasoner, and husband, Kenny; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, sisters; Wanda Stohry, Angie Cirgin, and Sandy Adams as well as several nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

The visitation for Joyce will be held Monday, May 2, 2022, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034.

A funeral service will occur Tuesday, May 3, 2022, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034.

Burial will occur Tuesday, May 3, 2022, from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034.
