Katian was born June 9, 1937 to Leon and Jewel (Flippo) Goss in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She married Harvey Allen III on February 3, 1953 and has resided in North Richland Hills, Texas since 1958. She owned a beauty salon for several years and then worked as a seamstress and homemaker. She loved the Lord and was a dedicated member of Davis Memorial United Methodist Church.
Katian enjoyed vacations on the beaches of Corpus Christi, Hawaii, the Caribbean and Mexico. She loved to gamble and was lucky to make countless trips to Las Vegas. She was a great cook, a shopaholic, a gardener, and spent endless summer days poolside with her family and friends.
Katian is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey, parents, and son-in-law, Brian Wilson.
She is survived by her children Deborah Allen, Harvey Allen (Elaine), Laura Wilson, grandchildren, Rusty Allen (Kali), Jennifer Abrams, Stephanie Calhoun (Michael), Ashley Darcangelo (Micheal), great-grandchildren, Gannon and Asher Abrams, Weylan and Adeline Allen, and Jaxon and Bodhi Darcangelo, Siblings. Leon Goss (Glenda), Nettie Barton (Bill), David Goss (Elaine), Karen Parker (Clarence) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will take place at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, Texas on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 3:00 PM officiated by Grady Brittain.
A heartfelt thank you to the caregivers of Brookdale Senior Living and St. Gabriel's Hospice who helped care for her over the recent years.
