Kenneth was born April 5, 1927. He was a veteran with the Merchant Marines and served during World War II and served in the Army during the Korean War. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and became a practicing Pharmacist whose career spanned over 50 years. He opened Glenview Professional Pharmacy in 1965. He was a Shriner and also a longtime member of The Hills Church of Christ. Kenneth was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by Barbara McCommas Rush. Survivors: Wife, Vanita Tate Rush; daughters, Cherri Rush Hawthorne (Wade), Terri Rush de la Rosa (Buddy) and Helen Rush; sons, Gerald Cope (Norika) and John Cope (Beth); 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends who loved him.
