He is survived by his two beautiful children Kameryn Clement and Elijah Clement, his mother Barbara Clement, father Paul Clement, his awesome and loving sister Kara Dowling, Grandma Delores Sears and Grandpa Tom Clement who loved him dearly, and his beautiful fiancé Shirey Rhoads.
His mother and I thank God so much for blessing us with 35 years of diaper changing, listening to mom, mom, mom, watching him play sports, girl trouble and then grow up into the most awesome man he became. His heart was HUGE and his smile was infectious. Loved ones mean the world to him. If you truly know Kodie, you know when I say “I am a better man for having him in my life”, you know exactly what I mean.
He was perfect with the quick one liner smart ass remark. He always made sure he had the last word with his mother, both stubborn. He was also sincere from the heart when talking with you. Always willing to help and always wanted everyone to be happy.
As well as we all know Kodie, he would not want us to sit and mourn his passing, but rather get up and celebrate his life and the time spent together.
Kodie was my HERO, my ROCKSTAR! Barbara’s forever “little boy”, Kara’s “best bud” and Shirey’s love. While we mourn his passing lets celebrate the fact that he is now in his forever home with the Lord Jesus - kinda jealous – while we are here messing with this world we live in, he is busy throwing the football around with Jesus and his uncle Mark or maybe fishing with grandpa Willie – How cool is that?
So, we ask for your prayers while his mother and I try and figure out what to do with the 150 pairs of tennis shoes he left behind.
A visitation for Kodie will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
