She married her longtime friend that she had known growing up in Kerala, George Abraham who preceded her in death only 4 months ago to the date. She missed him everyday and prayed everyday to the Lord to take her to be with him. The Lord answered her prayer as he always did for them. She was a godly person that trusted everything in Jesus's hands and didn't worry about tomorrow. Jesus provided her with more than she could ever want. All she wanted was for her family to love God and do good in the world. This included not only her kids but their spouses and grandkids.
Kay's mom passed away when she was 9 years old and her grandmother raised her. She went to nursing school and worked as a nurse in India. She came to the USA in 1977 to build a better life for her family. She worked as a nurse for 40 plus years. She had a servant's heart that reflected in everything she did. She was known for her cooking and made the best Indian food. She would do it with such ease. People who ate it would always comment on how great her food tasted. She never used a recipe, and just threw stuff in and it just tasted great.
Kay is survived by her daughters; Mary Moore, Sandhya George, and Vidya George. Sons; Abraham George, Samuel George and Steve Moore. Her grandkids, Crystal Yancey, Kris Yancey, Catalina Moore, Cre Moore, JT Moore, Mariah Moore, Reba George, Rihanna George, Isaac George, Abigail George and Jade Yancey.
Please join us in celebrating her life on Saturday, January 19th, between 11:30 and 1:30pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
