Kyle, I am so glad I got to recently see you at Panther Pride Night and catch up. It was good to see you. I sincerely enjoyed serving on the Booster Club board with you. Trey always spoke highly of Mason and called me last Sat night. Thank you for serving on the board for our boys. I’ll never forget when you emailed me about a receipt for PPN at Rebeccas’s gifts and it was for table clothes but I knew you didn’t know it was a novelty toys & prizes wholesale store. LOL. I am better for knowing you.

It was so awesome to reconnect with Kyle at our son's Colleyville High School football game and discover Mason & Luke were teammates and great friends. Kyle and I went to elementary school and high school together in Lubbock, Texas . My son Luke Lingard spent a considerable amount of time at the Murdock house in the past several years. Luke always enjoyed the conversations he and "Big Kyle" shared which were usually around politics.
Kyle was a fantastic father, mentor, leader and godly man that was taken way too soon. Prayers for comfort and peace to the family. You will be missed "Big Kyle".
Christi Watt Lingard.

I met Kyle when I first started my career about 9 years ago. I was actually selling to him but he treated me like I was his friend. As an up and comer Kyle was very patient with me and genuinely wanted me to excel at my job — again, he showed this grace even as I was selling to him. This speaks volumes to the type of man he was… he didn’t let my inexperience frustrate him and he didn’t try to get the best deal he could, he just wanted me to succeed. This stuck with me. I later worked with Kyle again and nothing had changed, he still wanted me to be the best that I could even as he sat on the other side of the negotiating table. I will miss this great man.

I had the privilege of being Kyle’s roommate at Baylor. Kyle was a great person and a wonderful friend during that time. I have so many wonderful memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I am so sorry for your loss. My family will lift everyone up in prayer and ask that the Lord bring peace that only He can bring during this difficult time.
