

He will always be remembered as a loyal, loving, husband, father, ‘grampy’, and friend to all that knew him and loved him. He was born on September 25, 1948 in El Paso, Texas to Clarence Earl Casey and Maxine Casey.
Larry is survived by the love of his life, Patricia Casey of Grapevine, Texas, to whom he was married to for 26 years. He is also survived by his daughters Kelly Barker and her husband Jimmy Barker of Dallas, Texas and Leslie Hightower of Bedford, Texas; his sisters Marilyn Cannady and her husband Bob Cannady of Rio Rancho, New Mexico and Janice Venuso and her husband Ken Venuso of Dallas, Texas; his “brother” Peter Johanson and his wife Jaimie of Bedford, Texas; the light of his life grand daughters Jade and Audrey Hightower of Bedford, Texas; his nephew Chris Venuso and his wife Lindsey Venuso and their children Isabella and Dominick of Highland Village, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Earl Casey and Maxine Casey as well as his nephew Nick Venuso.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday September 27, 2018 at 10:00 am at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, Texas. A reception for family and friends will immediately follow the memorial service. The reception will be held at family’s community HOA center.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Larry’ name to : The National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the American Cancer Society.

Larry G. Casey of Grapevine, Texas passed away on September 23, 2018 in Grapevine, Texas. Larry loved God and took the time to commemorate the Memorial of Jesus Christ’s death every year. He was dedicated to his family and was known for helping anyone who asked him to do so, despite whatever inconvenience it was to him. No ‘ask’ was ever too great.
Larry was active in many organizations throughout his life. At the time of his death, he was serving as President of the Stone Bridge Oaks Home Owners Association, where he also served in other roles previously. He was also a current member of the Shoot Smart Gun Club and the Metroplex Car Modelers Association.
Larry graduated from San Angelo State University with a Bachelor’s degree. He worked as a facilities manager for much of his life. One of his biggest professional accomplishments was assisting in the construction of the massive Nokia campus in Las Colinas, Texas.
