Leila Jean Smith

Leila Jean Grimsley Smith 88 years young, went to be with her heavenly father on July 17, 2016. Leila was born in Florence, South Carolina to John and Leila Grimsley. In 1947 she married Donald Lee Smith, and together they raised two children Donnie and Carmen. Leila worked for Charleston Naval Ship Yard for 32 years as well as a licensed real estate agent. She was a past worthy matron of the Eastern Star, lodge Queen Esther chapter #166. Those preceding her in death are her parents and husband. Those left to cherish Leila’s Memory are: son; Don Smith, and wife Susan, daughter; Carmen Reynolds, and husband Michael, grandchildren; Donnie Smith Jr, wife Laura, Charlie Smith, wife Heather, Amy Lewis, husband Randall, Kristen Reed, husband Brandon, Johnny Tisdale, wife Amanda, Catherine Owen, husband William, Mikey Clark, wife Deanna, Shelli Clark, significant other Thomas Martin, Sydney Clark, and Brandon Reynolds, wife Jennifer, great-grandchildren; Madisen, Paxlee, Jase, Caleb, Hope, Fynn, Hollis, Jack, Charlize, Stella, Claire, Brooks, Kailee, McKenna, Corbin and Grace.
